The group started in New Jersey with Felix Cavaliere at the helm. Their original performance was on the Hullabaloo in 1965 with their hit single "I Ain't Gonna Eat My Heart Anymore" Soon after "Good Lovin" was recorded in 1966 and the rest is history. I can still here myself singing the Rascals songs in my car when I was young. "I've Been Lonely To Long" and "A Girl Like You" will always stick in my head, probably for a lifetime.
